4. Scope changes
Work is delivered against the feature list in the agreed proposal. Requests outside that list are treated as change requests: we will estimate them, you approve them, and only then do they enter the schedule. This protects both sides from budget surprises.
5. Payments

6. Client responsibilities
To keep a project moving you agree to provide content, access, credentials, feedback and decisions within reasonable timeframes. Delays in these can shift the schedule, and we'll say so in writing when it happens.
7. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the custom code, designs and assets created specifically for your project, and we hand over the repository and documentation. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and internal frameworks, and grant you a perpetual licence to use them within your project. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
8. Support and maintenance
Bug fixes for defects in delivered features are included free for 30 days after launch. After that period, support is provided under a maintenance agreement or quoted per request. New features are always quoted separately. A "bug" means behaviour that differs from the agreed specification — not a change of mind.
9. Warranties and liability
We provide services with reasonable skill and care. We do not warrant that software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that a project will achieve particular commercial results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, except where the law does not allow such limitation.
10. Hosting and third-party services
Where a project depends on third-party providers such as hosting, payment gateways, APIs or app stores, their own terms and availability apply. We recommend and set up infrastructure that suits the scope of the work; you remain responsible for those accounts and their recurring costs unless the proposal says otherwise.
11. Termination
Either party may end an engagement with written notice. Work completed up to that point is payable, and we will hand over the work in progress. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — payment, intellectual property, liability — continue to apply.
12. Confidentiality
We keep your business information, data and credentials confidential and use them only for the project. If you need a signed non-disclosure agreement before sharing details, ask us and we'll sign one.
